Feluccas on the Nile from a scene in Aswan, I used in this painting the Style of Ron Ranson a great landscape watercolorist, from his book Skies in Watercolors. His book inspired and helped me a lot with the different types of skies and how to paint them and also the foreground rocks.

Your technique with the hake is giving you some wonder effects. Very impressive.
Thanks Bill, yes I think that with the hake I gained some very valuable techniques that helped me further in watercolors. I am very excited about exploring the more the Hake
Keep painting those Feluccas Doudy, they are so evocative. Wonderful shapes and atmosphere. Do you know Ron Ranson's book "Watercolor Impressionists"? I think you would like it.
