Oak tree landscape

This is my last post before I start my exams on the 11th (next sunday) so wish me luck!!! I begin really to miss painting...its been a while..but well..I am studying correctly, not very very very hard because I know that the more you study for an exam, the less you are sure about which answer they want.... :) See you soon!!

Thanx by the way I saw your night scene "Blues Hall, Memphis" its great, I really admire painters that do night scenes with watercolor ... it takes courage!!!

Nice scene, Doudy; great sense of space, and you've handled the shadows on the ground perfectly (not easy to do!). Good luck on your exams; I'm sure you'll do well. I look forward to hearing about all your good grades and seeing the paintings you do to celebrate!

Hi, This is the first time I have been on your blog and I found it very interesting. It is great to see how someone is approaching problems and how they are tackled. I love this painting,"Oak tree landscape"; it is so "airy", so full of the countryside. The colours and composition are spot on. Thanks for the blog I will be dropping in regularly from now on. - John
